What do I need to know about spaying and neutering my pet?

Ką reikia žinoti apie augintinio kastraciją ir sterilizaciją?

Neutering and spaying are surgical operations that remove the gonads and prevent natural fertilisation. Neutering is performed on males and spaying on females. Each procedure is discussed with the owner, after assessing the pet’s condition and carrying out the necessary tests.

Operations are performed under general anaesthesia. You can take your pet home the same day as the procedure. It will be fully awake. Our doctors will also advise you on the future care of your pet.

Neutering/sterilisation not only reduces the population of stray animals, but also helps prevent various diseases in the future.
